Comic WIPs

Here’s a pair of concept sketches for my next project in class.  I chose a few well-known phrases from music and literature and worked them into a one-page comic spread.  Here are two of them.

I’m working on a version of a line from Dylan’s “Tambourine Man” that’s a bit risque.  Not sure how much I like it, though.

“Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free.

Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands.”
