A Little Something Monstrous

I feel awesome.  I made my first stop-motion claymation!  After a couple of botched attempts (like trying to make my first attempt with 120 frames and accidentally sizing it so small that you couldn’t make it out… oh and it was backward and washed-out, too), I managed to make a little looping GIF.  I created a studio in my bathroom because it was the only place in my apartment with constant lighting.

This is the first success in a series of animation tests I’m trying to produce this summer, in preparation for the possibility of making a 30-second animated short for my senior thesis project at the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

New Header

Hurray, I finally replaced my shoddy newbie header with something halfway presentable. …And there was much rejoicing.

Another Sketchdump

Self-portrait done in my Domo sketchbook on Domo-shaped paper.

Playing around with typefaces is one of my many projects for the summer.

Colored pencil flashback!  I’ll probably come back to this one, but I’m not sure exactly what I want to do with it.
